What's included in the packages?
Design, production, uploading, search engine submission, domain name registration (optional), hosting (optional), and optional database access. Logo design and stationery templates also available at a small additional fee.
What sort of pages should my site have?
a welcome or 'home' page which states what your site is about
an 'about' page telling about the business activities and history
a page describing your products, with sub pages for individual products
pictures on each page if applicable, especially on product pages
a contact page with the address of your physical premises and postal/telephone information
other pages as decided in consultation
How do I pay?
After the inital consultation, an agreement is drawn up and signed off.
At that time you pay one third deposit, followed by a further one third progress payment after one month, with the final payment after the site is uploaded. Following that, one month of free 'tweeks' while you decide what is working well and what would work better.
Do I have to manage the site myself after that?
Jan T has managed websites for all but one of her past clients, but you can elect to manage it yourself if you wish.
Additional fees for ongoing maintenance if required apply at hourly rates.
