Revamped a client’s site yesterday

June 19th, 2009

My client wanted to add some new stuff to her website, so I took the opportunity to ask her to give me some new images for the front page.

I decided to add a jQuery slider to the home page of her site and downloaded an example from the Adobe™ Dreamweaver™ Exchange and began to play.

I had to redo the images in Fireworks™ for the previous and next buttons, resize the slider width to suit the mainContent div on her site, and produce five compilation images for the panels.

She rang me long distance when she logged into the site and was so happy with the redesign.
